Cursor provides inline suggestions, chat and agent tools in an IDE. intentic does not replace those typing-time features. It manages supported agents, task environments, permissions and reviewed changes. Compare the included allowance, overages and cloud usage, not just the subscription price. ### Can I use local models instead of Cursor's hosted models? For a local-model agent workflow, compare OpenCode or Codex CLI configured with a supported local backend. intentic can manage supported agents around that workflow. Cursor's self-hosted worker feature is about tool execution, not running Cursor's inference locally. ### Is Cursor fully self-hosted or offline? No. Its customer-hosted workers send task data back to Cursor, which handles planning and inference. Privacy Mode is not an offline mode.
